    I really like the pulley systems for storage, just the fact that you can get them up and out of the way without taking up valuable room in a garage. Planned on building a pair of these. My gf's dad owned a cabinet building business for over 25 years and he's pretty handy when it comes to wood working. I've already sent him pictures of these and he just laughed at how easy these are to make.

    I'd probably go with a pulley system if I had a garage but I'm in an apartment right now, so they get the wall space.

    Buddy did a pair of pullies on the ceiling with a "swing seat" for each canoe. When he was ready to go he just lowered them down and went. When done it was as simple as sliding them in and pulling the line to raise them up.

    I'm looking to do a 2 night camping trip somewhere. I'm looks to paddle in on a Friday and leave on Sunday. Would prefer a more primitive camp sight as opposed to a campground. Any suggestions for places to look into within 5 hrs from DFW? Hoping to see some good scenery somewhere!

    The Tarpon 14 was one of my first choices after looking into Wilderness Systems kayaks. But I don't have the space for one living in an apartment, so I went with the ride. I wouldn't mind one in the future but I thinking my next yak will be a sit in if it's not an all out angler yak.
