For example he could have been driving a service truck for the company he worked for or borrowed one from a friend or relative. he could have also stolen one since he was a car guy and had a pretty good understanding of how to take a vehicle that you don't have the keys for.

my father was one of the investigators on that case. He did say he hated interviewing child molesters 8hrs a day for months. He worked on that case for well over a year with the FBI.

When Opal Jennings was taken he was going to be forced to work that case also and chose to retire instead. Said he could not go through that again.

Find it pretty funny he is driving around with that shit on his car given his reputation.
