Wouldn't it make sense to just replace the fuse with what should be there? I'm no mechanic but that'd be my first step.

But what do I know? I blew up the PCM, TCM and the PATS system at the same time in my car.

Look for a blown 15amp fuse #51 by the cooling fan relay, its for the ECM relay and it also supplies power to the intake valve timing solenoid(p1111)
Yeah that was the one I posted up in that pic, and the one I was having trouble finding a diagram for. All the text somehow blurred. But I did finally find it on ebay of all places. Didn't know it was called an "IPDM", i was just calling it "another fuse box" lol

And I did check all the fuses in there and in the other two areas (one under the dash, one on the left side of the engine) but they were all good. Tested the ignition, and starter relays, both good. Just that one EGN MGT fuse blew, so that's what I'm going to focus on. Tomorrow a friend is bringing over that power probe tool, so we can have an easier time tracking down where its coming from.

Obviously I had help you fucking moron, lol. I never once alluded to anything resembling me doing all the work 100% by myself. Although yes, it was me doing the majority of the work. My 2nd cousin is here helping out his parents. I mean... is this somehow unfathomable to you? Are you that fucking stupid? I guess you think that just because you couldn't do it, nobody could? Don't project your own ineptitude on me bruh. I said up front that it was an intimidating job to me, and that I was a medium mech on a good day.

I wanted to learn how to do this, cause yeah, I like turning wrenches. Part of the reason I'm even a member here, unlike you. Somebody I care about needs something and has helped me out plenty of times, so yeah I'm gonna try to help them out. I never even said I'd be successful. I said I'd give it a shot and she'd be no worse off either way. I'm sure you don't even have a G.E.D, but please at least try to read an interpret what you've read correctly, without rushing in and making all manner of blind assumptions.

Are you gonna cry? You need a tissue? I guess the pics weren't enough, and yeah it makes total sense you'd never help out a relative who was on a fixed income and in need.

Horn fuse... well it already popped a 20 amp fuse. Unless you're referring to a mechanic's lingo that I know nothing about, which is definitely possible

Use a fork, bend the tines appropriately and jam it in.

No, dont do that. Unless you like fire and blowing up expensive components.

Take a horn fuse and throw it in there.
