Asphalt my wife has a 94 grand prix 200k plus and one trans at a 100,000.

It sounds like its going to blow any day but I've said that for the past 60 thousand miles. It just keeps going. It has also killed two deer.

2003 rcsb s-10 2.2L 5spd with 190k miles. It leaks oil and gets 25 mpg, not too bad for a worn out turd. I am thinking about picking up a civic hatch to commute back and forth to work (45 miles both ways) when my bonuses start to pick up.

03 Pontiac Grand Am 4 door 2.2 auto.
Bought it for 2k with 99k on the odo, have put around 30k HARD miles on this pos. The rear doors have been bashed in by previous owner accidents, they don't open, and the rear windows don't work.
But I've beat the living shit out of this car, constant and consistent redlight to redlight hammerings, and it has yet to take a shit on me. The little 2.2 ecotec is a stout little 4 banger. Gas mileage is ok, wish it was better, but it is what it is.

My daily is a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 178k on it. Everything is new except the inside of the engine or transmission but 90% or everything else is under 2 years old.
Its a good solid truck but it handles and rides like a truck plus it has the mileage of a truck.
That's why I would like something else to putter around in all the time. Round trip to Dallas and my back is killing me by the time I get home.
