Oh I understand inalienable rights. We are born with them and they are ours from birth. Problem is, people willingly give them up in exchange for the promise of security. For someone who preaches the constitution this and the constitution that, bill of rights this bill of rights that. You seem to forget what inalienable rights are. Our rights are not given to us by a piece of paper or a government. We our born with these rights whether you believe in a god or not. All people over the world are born with them. So if you have the right to defend yourself, so does a person in Iraq, Iran or the USA. Most people aren’t going to just randomly attack someone, they attack when they are threatened. The US telling sovereign nation how to conduct their business with the THREAT of force makes them want to defend themselves.
