Im planning to start on my new turbokit in the next couple weeks.

Gonna do a polished ceramic coating this time , so it should look good with that black motor.

Ordered a Team Z motor plate so my turbo support can be mounted to it.

I Still need a few things here before I can begin the next step.

I really like the design of the Stainless works x275 kit they offer. But at $2800, fabbing my own kit will keep me in budget.

So im just gonna copy that kit Ebay style!

It will all be in 304 stainless though.

    something like this.

I may get bashed for this but I dont really care. I hated the look of my older victor jr heads, so I did my research and decided to paint the engine.

After stripping the entire motor with a drill/wirewheel and etch priming the motor I bought some Ppg, 2k single stage paint.

Ive read that a normal basecoat/clearcoat can yellow, so a single stage should get it done.

Automotive paint is said to hold temps to around 250 so ill be fine. Plus this finish will stay nice for a long time.

The intake is going to be powdercoated some type of matte silver.

    Small update.

I got the trunk floor & fuel cell frame all welded up, and sheet metal is in. I still have to seam seal the top and bottom before paint. This 15 gallon cell should get me around the block a few times.

I plan to powdercoat the cell & fully finish out the trunk with marine carpet or vinyl. I still need to build my false walls first.

Just tryin to get the basic stuff done.

Sweet build! I would have loved to see what you would have done to that white 1st gen turbo eclipse I got from you forever ago.
