I've seen the ground on, and painted Chevy orange...

Just don't raise the hood. Although, sometimes that scares more people than raising it with stuff hidden and disguised.

I told him to maybe look at getting them ported since he doesnt have much invested in them. from what ive seen Fox lake does a pretty damn good job porting them getting 215 CFM out of the exhaust side. itll be a good head for a 302

But would require fly cutting the pistons or new pistons to work with any decent sized cam most likely.

The brodix ported with the 2.02 valve flows amazing too. I just want to see it run lol

There are better products out there, but I've always wanted to run brodix heads. They are far better then e7 or gt40s so Ill stick with them.

IMHO the TW 170 heads are far better than the heads he is going to use. Just the fact that the valves are larger will help. That being said, andy intake that flows over 250 cfm will be perfect for those heads. A ported RPM I would probably be even better than the Systemax, but the Systemax is a proven performer that will not dissapoint you. The center bolt is a huge pita if the tb is already installed.

I would trade those heads for some TW's. They are not that good of a head from experience.
Ive gained over 60rwhp just from swapping and nothing more on a 347 car.

Yep, they are pricy but they make great power too. Especially if you spend a couple hours cleaning them up. the casting process at bbk is terrible. I put one on my old fox and it gained as much as 20 hp across the entire rpm range over a performer. Picked up 2 mph AMD almost 2 1/10s in the 1/4...
