You're too blind to see that everyone is tryint to get you to spend your money wisely instead of some hood-rich fool. 15K on a 400HP engine is just plain stupid. Even if you plan on making 800HP in the next month or ten.

The only reason I'd consider it (spending 15K), is IF I were bound to using a 8.2" motor as opposed to a 9.5" motor. Research it, you know you need to. Everyone else will understand.

hell, i thought i spent too on my lq9, my $1200 motor (complete from intake to pan, accessories to flexplate) with the stock 317's, a stock cam, stock intake, some long tubes and and an intake i'll probably right at his 400hp mark... wonder if it'll be reliable enough, but...it's 364ci, too many cubes for a street motor,
