Why do you not want to build a bigger inch(351+) motor? You can run a more street freindly cam, you wont have to rev the shit out of it, and you can run less boost to make the same power a 331 will. You already stated you want room to grow, a 351 based motor will have more growing room for what you want. Your already replacing the block and everything else why not just jump up to a 351?

no. not for 2 people that dont see or understand what i am tryin to explain to them when everybody else does.... y'all 2 are jus tryna pick shit while you sit on your lazy asses and not doin shit. this is what makes that difference though, my plan is,,, to have an engine built to where, " strengthwise " it can handle 600+ .... but for the internal components, and heads, evrything else, i only want it to come out of the shop making 400 ish...... without restricting my goal to reach 500..... so, vortech system, and maybe water/meth if i want a more aggressive tune for more than 500.... thats the very best i can break it down.... i dont know how else to explain it.. it IS possible...

ok we get that but we are telling you that if u want to have a reliable engine to make that HP you need to go bigger, yes a 331 Might be able to give you 600hp but it wont do it for long

What the cost on mild stock block 351w with a street turbo kit and hp numbers?
