Guest repliedFor reference, here are some pics of my back yard, mostly before I had done much with it. I've since planted some windmill palms and 4 more trees. 2 Oaks, a Dogwood as a memorial to my Border Collie Scully that passed away last year, and a Lime. Another couple of years and this yard will be pretty respectable.
I had the wall built on the west side of the existing deck shortly after I moved in to give me some privacy from the neighbors. The new section will extend to the far east side of the chimney.

Guest repliedGuys are here tearing up my yard this morning. Should hopefully have the whole thing poured this afternoon. Decided I'm going to go ahead and pay for it to be covered to protect the hot tub. I was looking at a lot of different options to cheap out on that, but decided to do it right and just have it tied into the existing cover. Overall it will be about 30x11 covered now, maybe a little bigger. I'll throw up pictures of the progress as it happens.
