Hopefully they get time but they probably wont. Even my grandfather who was a 20 year officer and FOP member couldn't stand 99.9% of the newer generation of police.

Generally financial analysts don't kill people when they mess up. I'm sure you won't see it like that because you are trying to defend a supposedly professional LEO beating someone to death.

I think the court has considered the totality of the circumstances and charged a few cops with second degree murder? Am I wrong? I'm sure that doesn't matter to you though, you are going to puff your chest out and tell us all how you know better.

An admission that you guys do get preferential treatment? Oh my...

Matt, it boils down to this: If cops would stop protecting the sorry pieces of shit that hide behind the badge, if they cracked down on it amongst themselves, if they spoke up against the bullshit, the perception held by the general population of police would change. Instead, you guys protect at all costs the sorry ones, strip us of our money and our rights at every opportunity, and continue to breed the contempt that MANY hold for LE now. As I've said before, even my Korean war vet father in law, whom I hold the highest respect of just about anyone walking, says FTP. When the field of law enforcement has changed to the degree that even this man holds you in contempt, something is awry.

And when you say you wouldn't go quite that far, do you mean you would support maybe just beating the shit out of the guy that was just sitting on the sidewalk when GI bad ass joe cop walked up? Instead of going so far as murdering him? Because that's exactly what they did. They murdered the dude.

none of this matters, because the guy was white!!!
if it had been a black guy who got beaten to death. we would all have been drafted by the army, to fight in the 'race war' that would've ensued....

it's fucked up i know, that's just how it is.

What all was that kid charged with?

I don't recall, because he was a juvenile at the time. I actually work with the guy that was the primary unit that day. He told me that the punk got a couple years in TYC.

What a joke. He was a LEO, he knows how the system works.

Unfortunately I watched the video, and the victim doesn't seem too "mentally ill" to me. At first he is able to carry on an intelligent conversation with the "officer" (read: POS) and cries out that he can't breath in perfectly articulated English.

Wow, those are some serious injuries to that officer!

I personally like the two bottom photos. I hope they get to wear those pajamas for a long time.

So, what is the number of bad officers?
