Unfortunately, the average person doesn't take one honorable breath in their entire fucking lives. If you can walk past this sort of shit going on and not do what you can to help out of principle alone, then you aren't worth the oxygen that you breathe. Hell, I agree with you. The whole situation is a bowl of shit. As citizens we employ these people with the power to police society, to protect and serve. I believe a majority of officers are good people doing a very hard job. But all the good they do is completely ruined by a small group of overzealous idiots. Which in return only causes further resentment on both sides with good and bad officers.

As citizens when we're having to interact with an officer, we're at the mercy of his/her disposition. If they want to push the issue they can because they've been powered by the state to do so. It really doesn't matter for any reason either. And ALL cops do it, even some of the favorite beloved officers on this site who don't like to be questioned in the manner of the service they provide.

Like anyone else, they are human, most likely abit jaded if not completely. And how could they not be with all of the shit they see on a daily basis? I believe that most people who get into law enforcement do so because they wanted to help in the beginning. Over time they seem to forget what their job is becoming jaded and completely forgetting all sense of compassion.

It's a difficult job we ask them do but if they can't do it then they shouldn't be doing it.

We need to get together and have some man love one of these days. Put all these hard feelings behind us...

This guy was beat for 9 minutes trying to be restrained. That's about 8 minutes longer than i need to make an assessment of whether that's whats really going on at that time - resisting arrest. Seems like plenty of time for us CITIZENS to take matters into our own hands.
