If a cop does no action to another cop that kills someone, are they not accessory to murder?

If me and 5 other friends ( assuming i had that many ) beat the shit out of whiteboy and he died, wouldn't all 6 of us be held accountable regardless?

Unfortunately, the average person doesn't take one honorable breath in their entire fucking lives. If you can walk past this sort of shit going on and not do what you can to help out of principle alone, then you aren't worth the oxygen that you breathe. Your deeds will define you, not your big TV, your salary, your house, none of it. If you can't stand up for your brother, then you won't stand up for yourself. If you won't stand up for yourself, then you're more akin to the violator than the violatee.

Which in return only causes further resentment on both sides with good and bad officers.

As citizens when we're having to interact with an officer, we're at the mercy of his/her disposition. If they want to push the issue they can because they've been powered by the state to do so. It really doesn't matter for any reason either. And ALL cops do it, even some of the favorite beloved officers on this site who don't like to be questioned in the manner of the service they provide.

Like anyone else, they are human, most likely abit jaded if not completely. And how could they not be with all of the shit they see on a daily basis? I believe that most people who get into law enforcement do so because they wanted to help in the beginning. Over time they seem to forget what their job is becoming jaded and completely forgetting all sense of compassion.

It's a difficult job we ask them do but if they can't do it then they shouldn't be doing it.

We need to get together and have some man love one of these days. Put all these hard feelings behind us...

    Lol. Good post...

Yes, because the only mental illness is retardation, where they can't articulate perfectly.

    Jesus fucking Christ....

sorry FTW police dude matt , can't defend you any more. I'm tired of your profession and all it has become to encompass.
I can't deal with the police because i can't call them with any reasonible assertion I won't be arrested myself for something stupid you guys always come up with .
It's not just some of you guys, its FUCKING HALF YOUR COWORKERS.

Go police yourself first then try to do something worth a shit for society.
When we can't trust you, WE DONT WANT YOU!

also think about this, they didn't all get charged with a crime , though any ONE of those officers could have stopped the murder from happening. That's a gang mentality right there. You say otherwise and you are lieing to yourself. That's what gangs do.

If a CHL holder see's something like this going on I encourage a full unloading of a magazine towards all supposed PEACE OFFICERS on site not handling the situation. This guy was beat for 9 minutes trying to be restrained. That's about 8 minutes longer than i need to make an assessment of whether that's whats really going on at that time - resisting arrest. Seems like plenty of time for us CITIZENS to take matters into our own hands.
you are commiting murder in front of me, you die and I defend myself later in court.
Justice will happen, whether you do it or someone else does it for you.
Make sure you (im sure you are) and your ilk are on the right side of the law!
The law will uphold my right to defend the 3rd party against a lethal threat you impose on a bum of all people, who was clearly not resisting arrest.

Unfortunatly for you, you will be tried for murder. See, only police officers can beat people in a gang type initiation and only one or two will be convicted. The others will be put on paid admin leave and only if there are witness'. Other than that they will be back on the streets "protecting us" from ourselves.
