I started in the fields in the Barnett as a Service Tech for a wellhead company and it was hard work, but now I work in field sales and I love it. I keep riding the ladder up. It's all about busting your ass and making contacts. There's definitely no other industry like it, and I couldn't do anything else. If you stay in it long the opportunities are endless and you can travel all over the world if you want.

Next stop company man... Then retire by 45 hopefully. Just for the record the oilfield is long hours and great money. I've done 4 days straight no sleep due to getting stuck, pulling casing apart then having to run fishing tools down hole to go retrieve what we left behind. But in the end I love my job and my 7 and 7 schedule
A little under a year ago you were still a driller, nice!
