yea. well, honestly i feel very good about this thread, i have a strong sense in what to look for now, and im leaning more towards fordstrokers for the build. after reading and lookin through their site, i can see why they are well known and trusted. i sent them an email last nightcant wait to hear back....

ok ok ok,, question,, again,,...... now,, say i go ahead and start puttin the dent in the ole bank account for this engine plan of mine, now, when selecting what pistons i want, for my 475-500 rwhp goal, on however much PSI from a new vortech or procharger setup, what would you guys reccomend,,, -14.2cc dish,,,, OR,,, -20.1cc dish.... obviously the 20.1cc would bring compression way down, plus whatever the heads would bring it down to, but,,, how low can ya go before you start losing power you want from PSI,,, and how HIGH can you go before you start running into oh shit issues with x amount of PSI...... or,, does it matter?

i just dont want or need the extra cubes... its going to remain as my daily driver since im a military guy and all that, gotta have a nice quick car to cruise to walmart in haha. i dont need all that low end stomp from a 408 lol... a bulletproof 331 with a nice procharger or vortech setup on 10 psi will do me plenty. fun, and still driveable lol.
